The light faded upon Mother’s day, she delighted and danced in the light of dusk. It was glorious. Indeed it was.

Living in Queensland means that there are many summer storms. We had a few rather interesting storms in late November this year.
These two photographs were taken on separate days and thankfully there wasn’t any hail or damage.
The daunting cloud formations show that we could be in for an exciting summer:)
Chasing sunsets is always an exciting adventure. There is the race for time, time to get to your location In time to capture your photograph. There is the search for the right location (sometimes by chance). There is also, the wait. Waiting for the right afternoon for the right opportunity. Once the chase and searching is over, you have but only a short time to watch and the sky paint its masterpiece for all the world to see. I never tire of it.
Enjoy every sunset. There will never be one the same.
It is coming the the end if the academic year and that means school is almost over. But that also means late nights and early mornings for teachers, marking and assessing student work. Teaching is a challenging job that is for sure! At least I have this view to help me through the never ending pile of assessment pieces.
Photography captures a moment of beauty seen through the eyes of the photographer. This moment is captured for others to see the indescribable beauty.
Life is beautiful. Sometimes you have to search to see the beauty. That is the enjoyable part…looking for something that is worth capturing.
