| What would the world be, once bereft

Of wet and wildness? Let them be left,

O let them be left, wildness and wet,

Long live the weeds and the wildness yet |

~Gerard Manley Hopkins, Inversnaid

I hear the lake…

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.

hidden oasis

This is a lake not to far from where I live in the suburbs, it is a hidden oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of life.

It is one of those places which I shall never tire of visiting or photographing.

Hope you have a great week!

recesses of feeling

The Wind

Who Has Seen The Wind?

Who has seen the wind?

Neither I nor you.

But when the leaves hang trembling,

The wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind?

Neither you nor I.

But when the trees bow down their heads,

The wind is passing by.
