| carry on, my soul |

 Carry on! Carry on!

Fight the good fight and true;

Believe in your mission, greet life with a cheer;

There’s big work to do, and that’s why you are here.

Carry on! Carry on!

 Let the world be the better for you;

And at last when you die, let this be your cry!

Carry on, my soul! Carry on!

adventure is worthwhile

We travel upon the road of life, not always knowing the direction or destination to which we are heading towards. There are many great and small and adventures to be had upon the journey through this life. There will be times of extraordinary events, tragic tales and simp,e stories that we will come to know. As Aristotle said, ‘Adventure is Worthwile.’ The road we travel is our adventure and it is indeed worthwhile.

before the sun wakes

Taking photos before the sun wakes in the morning is one of my favourite times to photograph. When the alarm rings (ridiculously early), rather than be annoyed I am awake in an instant and ready to see what the new morning brings. It is easier when you don’t have to travel far to your location and trying to take dawn photos while in the city can be quite difficult. This photograph was taken while I lived in country New South Wales last year. All I had to do was walk out my door and down the drive way and I would be amongst the mountains, the mist and the glorious sounds and smells of the bush. Every morning was a new adventure to see what new masterpieces was created.

recesses of feeling
