There is a beautiful lake not far from where I live, a piece of heaven amongst the suburbs and city life. At this lake, the view looks straight to the glorious mountains and rolling hills. I arrived after the sun had gone but the colours of dusk continued to settle on the land beneath. Surrounding me were sounds of water lapping alongside the land, birds flying to their resting place, and my favourite, nature’s silence. It is these things which photography cannot capture but reminds of the memory of a time which has passed and touched us in some way.
